Pictorial exhibition in homage to the city of Tortosa, its people and its cultural heritage, and included in the program of the event Tortosa, Capital of Catalan Culture 2021.

Through this exhibition the painter shows the streets, customs and most emblematic places of Amposta from a somewhat nostalgic vision of life, the past of the city and the Ebro Delta.

Faithful to his "costumbrista" side, Cesar Estrany shows in this exhibition his particular recreation of the city of Tortosa in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries .... From the walled Tortosa to the river trade, so important at that time, and from his night vision of the streets and shops of the city ... to a more historical perspective of the different places recreated in each painting.

A truly invitation to the past of Valencia. Cesar Estrany shows us, painting after painting, the essence of the city of Valencia; its vibrant streets, the omnipresence of its river Turia, its deeply rooted traditions... Images that depict the richness of the Valencian culture.

In this exhibition Cesar Estrany masterly reflects the depth of light in his paintings and the spontaneity of movements of his personages.

During the festivities of "la Cinta" 2012, Cesar Estrany offers an exhibition entirely dedicated to the image of the virgin of Tortosa "la Mare de Déu de la Cinta".
